The logo:

'JÄP' was created during math's class in high school sometime in 1998. I guess the class was boring so my imagination took me elsewhere and this figure was born.

Now, over 20 years later, I decided to use it as a logo on my 100% mulesing-free merino wool beanies made in Finland! Merino wool is an organically biodegradable and renewable natural fiber that doesn't itch, is breathable, warms in cool temperatures and cools in warm temperatures AND stays fresh due to its anti-bacterial properties. 

Me:

A Finnish 36-year old minimalist who has worked as a postman, a docker, an asphalt worker, a gas station attendant, a warehouse worker and who also is a certified masseur. a dive master, a personal trainer, an underwater rugby player and has a passion for spicy food.

A stylish merino beanie would have been greatly welcomed for warmth in the very cold and windy days as a docker in the Port of Kokkola or to cool me off and keep my head dry when working as an asphalt worker in Turku. While it's never too late, I'm now embarking on this new adventure of creating high quality products with a humorous twist, starting with beanies and hopefully many more products to come!
